ACM-W's outreach events help educate young K-12 students about Computer Science concepts and give them an opportunity to learn through hands-on activities.
ACM-W partnered with the Barnett, Northern Lights, and Martin Luther King Jr. branches of the Columbus Metropolitan Library to bring coding and technology related workshops to students all around the greater Columbus area.
ACM-W worked with the Biomedical Engineering Society to put on OSU STEM Day, a day of engineering activities for local middle and high school students.
ACM-W and the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department put on a safe-cracking coding and hardware workshop for local Girl Scouts.
ACM-W worked with the local chapter of 4-H to bring a STEM workshop to 4-H students for the 7th year in a row!
